Dr Agnes is a mum, researcher and conference speaker who combines real-world parenting experience with academic expertise in trilingual families. She completed her PhD at the School of Languages and Cultures at the University of Queensland, Australia. Her doctoral research analysed data from over 130 trilingual families speaking more than 30 languages. It is currently the largest study with trilingual families in Australia.
Dr Agnes speaks fluent English, Polish, and Spanish and has studied Chinese (Mandarin), German, Italian and Portuguese. She is raising three trilingual children.
Her mission is to ensure that research findings about raising children in international couples reach those who need them most: parents.
